At home you might have, but are not required to have:
-If you can afford it, I recommend that you at least rent a harp for these classes. Its really nice if you have a harp at home so you can practice. If you need help finding a harp to rent or buy, please visit the Finding A Harp page.If you cannot afford to rent a harp, I will bring several harps to class for you to play on.
-Tuning key (should come with harp)
- Case (should come with harp)
- An electronic tuner and tuner pick up. Both available at any music store.
- A small humidifier, like a sponge in a container or a DAMPIT.
Bring the following to each lesson:
- A harp, if you have rented or purchased one (not required)
- A notebook
- A clean audio tape
- Any musical materials we are currently working with (books, CDs, etc.)
- Clean hands
- Trimmed fingernails
- If you want to, bring a video camera to your first few lessons to help with hand positioning and technique
