Harp for Weddings

Hear beautiful harp music as you walk down the aisle or at your wedding reception. I offer a repetoire of Celtic and classical music for the prelude, ceremony and reception.

Songs Offered During the Ceremony

The following music is available during your wedding ceremony. Special requests will also be considered if they are requested at least four weeks before the day of the event.

- Bridal Chorus from "Lohengrin" by Richard Wagner (a classical fanfare,
often referred to as "Here Comes the Bride")
- The Wedding March from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by Felix Mendelssohn (a classical fanfare, often a recessional)
- Trumpet Tune by Henry Purcell (a fanfare, classical)
- Pachelbel's Cannon in D by Johann Pachelbel (a soothing classical piece)
- Sheep May Safely Graze by J.S. Bach (a soothing classical piece)
- Wendell's Wedding by Tony Cuffe (a soothing Celtic march)
- Si Beag, Si Mhor (an ancient soothing Celtic march)
- Soft Mild Morning (an ancient lyrical Celtic piece, excellent for reflection)
- Fanny Po'er (a lovely ancient Celtic piece in a nice walking tempo)

A recording of these tunes is available upon request.

Pricing Information

Playing the harp at a wedding typically costs $200 to $250. This includes a half hour of prelude music and music during the ceremony. Reception music is approximately $100 an hour. Pricing may vary due to location (how far I must drive), environment (indoor or outdoor) and special requests.
