Harp for Weddings

Hear beautiful harp music as you walk down the aisle or at your wedding reception. I offer a repetoire of Celtic and classical music for the prelude, ceremony and reception.

Songs Offered During the Ceremony

The following music is available during your wedding ceremony. Special requests will also be considered if they are requested at least four weeks before the day of the event.

Classical
Wagner's "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin ("Here Comes the Bride")
Mendelssohn's Wedding March from "A Midsummer Night's Dream"
Henry Purcell's, "Trumpet Tune"
Johann Pachelbel's "Canon in D"
J.S. Bach's "Sheep May Safely Graze"
Ode to Joy by Ludwig Van Beethoven (an energetic joyous piece)
Celtic
Wendell's Wedding by Tony Cuffe
Si Beag, Si Mhor (an ancient soothing Celtic march)
Soft Mild Morning (an ancient lyrical Celtic piece, excellent for reflection)
Fanny Po'er (a lovely ancient Celtic piece in a nice walking tempo)
Bridget Cruise by Turlough O'Carolan (beautiful and dreamy)
Atholl Highlanders (energetic, good for marches)

A recording of these tunes is available upon request.

Pricing Information

Playing the harp at a wedding typically costs $250 to $300. This includes a half hour of prelude music and music during the ceremony. Reception music is approximately $100 an hour. Pricing may vary due to location (how far I must drive), environment (indoor or outdoor) and special requests.
